This is a fantastic movie! It shows the reality of what it's like to be "that" kid that isn't in the "In crowd" and can't find their place in the world. It shows them they can make their own place. It's got great acting from a fairly well known cast and a great storyline that will hit home for a lot of folks! I bought it for my teen son!

Overall it's a decent film. The special effects are pretty good. The acting is good. So all in all it's worth picking up. If you're looking for the series to be similar to the books, you're in for a huge dissapointment. But they are not so far off that there is no comparison. However, they continue to leave several things unexplained.
