Hard-Working, Thorough Cleaning Bot!

This robot is great at cleaning, and fun to watch in action!
Very easy to set up and use, including the app (yes, yet another app) to control it from anywhere, including the ability to schedule it to do routine independent cleaning. It has on board cleaning & docking buttons too, so if you want to avoid the app and are planning to be present whenever you use it, it can be operated independent of the app (a HUGE plus in my book, although I do plan to use the app with this particular device). I must admit that I was expecting it to be smaller than it is, but after seeing it in action, it seems to be the perfect size to do what it does.
It is fairly quiet when doing its rounds throughout your living space, except for the slight rolling sound it makes when in areas with hard floors. I love the fact that it attempts (successfully, for the most part) to do very detailed cleaning along edges and corners, however, detailing is the one area that I would say you should plan to use a hand vac or wand or other do-it-yourself tool, although in most cases this will get the job done completely.
My only word of caution is regarding loose cords. I did not notice that there was a loose cord in one area of my home, and the Bot attempted to remove it. The cord was rather thick, so my initial thought was that it would avoid/recoil from the cord, but it actually tried to vacuum the cord and I had to quickly separate the two. Aside from that, it is large enough for you to use natural furniture and barriers from items around your home to get it to go where it needs to go (although it comes with a roll of barrier guard to keep it away from whatever areas you choose), and small enough to fit under most commonly sized tables, stands, and elevated items to clean large areas of the home with minimal prep work beforehand.
I would highly recommend this very entertaining device to everyone! Charge 'em up and let 'em have at it!

I was expecting a lot from this steamer as a mop, but was pleasantly surprised at all of the other functionality of this particular mop! It comes with several interchangeable heads for either the Wand portion of the device or to attach to the main handheld canister portion of the device. Everything from a scraper to a nozzle head can be placed on either (including the mop head attachment).
There is such a difference cleaning with steam as opposed to a bunch of harsh chemicals, and the attachments (including a wall mount kit for storage) make it extremely handy for a variety of cleaning projects. I plan to use one of the two mop heads for carpet steaming, but that is about the only thing I have not yet attempted.
I would recommend this to everyone I know. It actually makes cleaning easier and less harmful since there are no chemicals needed for this to work. I only wish I had stepped into the steam cleaning arena sooner! This is a great buy, and I plan to look at more steam cleaning products in the future as a result of my experience using this!

FUn! While the battery lasts.....

Overall, this is a nice time-killer, but not very much time though.
Very simple to set-up, as everything is based in the Sphero Mini app (do not search the app on the app store; go to the web site given in the instructions, to get the correct app). Everything can be controlled, from directing the Sphero to changing the color illumination of it. There is a way to get it to gradually learn as you go along, but I did not venture past the basic types of movements. You can also learn to do different types of tricks through a program within the app.
All of that said, the battery life is about 45 min. on a full charge, so you pretty much have to pace yourself and remember to charge it immediately every time you use it. I've never owned a device of this type, so not sure how standard of a charge 45 min. is, but from the perspective of enjoying the device, 45 min. did not feel like much (it didn't seem to last a full 45 min.)
Bottom line, the Sphero was very entertaining to use, and easy to control through the app, but battery life impedes on the fun, especially trying to learn the tricks within the app. I would still recommend it to others, as it seems to be a good intro device of this type.

Impressive Device!

Ive never seen a device quite like this one, and was VERY skeptical about the whole concept, but I was completely blown away upon first use!
The sound quality is pretty much perfect for watching tv/streaming online content, and for casual music listening, and you can connect two devices to it simultaneously (but no more than two), and it is very easy to use with the app required for operation. I started with streaming music from my phone, and although the sound quality is impressive (its like wearing your own personal surround sound entertainment center on your shoulders!) I would say it is just slightly lacking in the bass department for die hard bass lovers (still an impressive effort for a device like this!). Bluetooth was easy to use with the app and everything within the app was intuitive for operating the device. Most amazing is the fact that you get such a powerful sound in your immediate vicinity, but if you remove the device from your neck, you clearly hear how contained the sound is to the center of the device. I can only hope that a version of this with a bass boost effect will be released in the near future.
The down side is that you are forced to use the app (it comes with an instruction booklet that only tells you to download the app) and there are really no other instructions outside of using the app to set-up, use, and learn about even the most basic functions of the device. I'm not a fan of being forced to download yet another intrusive app, but the app does make it easy to use this device to its full potential.
I can definitely picture this device coming in handy at work and for basic home leisure (I can give my wireless headphones some periodic rest!), and it would be especially useful if you want to get a full sound but perhaps are in a living or work situation that requires low outward sound projection. I would definitely recommend this, for the experience alone, much more the array of situations this would be handy in. I've never encountered anything quite like it!

I had been eyeing this television for quite some time due to reviews I read in early 2017 about the quality of the picture (almost perfect OLED quality blacks) and the combination of features this set offers (multiple HDR formats, multiple audio & video options, ease of use of features including android-based features, intuitive remote control and settings options, overall responsiveness/quick execution of functions, sturdy and nice looking base and frame, and best picture quality out there next to OLED options due to its full array backlighting, to name a few). At the time I was reviewing this set, there was a Samsung from 2016 that was still being lauded as the best set available, but that changed fairly quickly and this set took top billing and has maintained it so far on most review sites out there.
I originally received one with a shattered panel behind the screen, but once I swapped that one out for one in good condition, I've experienced nothing but pleasant blissful TV watching! This thing is a total upscaling monster and makes just about everything viewed on it look fantastic, from old DVDs to actual 4K HDR content, I have been amazed at the sheer perfection of the picture quality rendered by this set (ran a few 4k OLED display videos on it, and it handled them to perfection!).
My plan was to hold out until Black Friday for a lower price, but the price dropped over labor day weekend, leading to my purchase. This is worth every penny paid, and I am very happy with my purchase! I could not have asked or prayed for a better set than this, as it has gone far beyond all the hype around it and exceeded expectations immensely. I would recommend this set to everyone I know. Great job with this work of art, Sony!

Feels Great on my Teeth & Gums!

I own a similar tooth brush as this one by a different manufacturer, and that one actually hurt to use and led to my discontinued use of it, but this one feels much more gentle and has become my go-to tooth brush.
It has multiple cleaning settings and comes with three interchangeable brush heads that will automatically activate certain cleaning settings depending on the particular brush head used. The set also comes with a pack of replacement brush heads.
There is a charger that looks like a typical water glass that cordlessly charges the tooth brush (a very stylish and natural look for a charger), and I have not had any issues with battery life thus far.
Bottom line, It feels absolutely GREAT in my mouth (Tongue, gums, inner cheeks, teeth), and I would recommend it to everyone I know in the market for an automated tooth brush..

As long as your TV can handle it, this Player will upscale your content to perfection, complete with its own set of visual settings! Its hard to tell which is truly performing when playing hi-end DVDs, but when it comes to playing older, lower-format materials, this DVD player is clearly in control! Have not tested the 3-D features since my current TV does not have that feature (my new one probably will), but everything else seems to work great.
Would definitely recommend, even if just for the upscaling alone!

Best Mouse I've Ever Used

I honestly didn't think i would be impressed by a mouse, but this one is fun to use, and has more features than I've been able to use yet!
Battery power is great and the mouse appears to be able to track across almost ANY surface. I've used it on my knee, a bunched up blanket (don't ask), and various other surfaces with excellent tracking. The funnest part of the mouse is the roller wheel in the center. It can switch between a free-spin mode and a standard click-by-click tracking mode. As i am a PC gamer, this flexibility comes in particularly handy, as does its ability to connect to a PC via blue tooth or through a standard cordless USB dongle. The back-FWD buttons on the mouse come in handy as well, and can be assigned for other purposes as needed.
I have not had a chance to use some of the other features, like connecting to multiple PCs SIMULTANEOUSLY and transferring files directly from one PC to another through the mouse, but those I see as just added bonuses on top of what is already an absolutely FANTASTIC mouse. There is no need to hesitate. Buy one NOW! You will be glad you did!

Enjoy a smooth shaving experience with this Panasonic cordless razor. Mixed feelings (compared to traditional razor)

I have typically used a razor & shaving cream to shave in spite of occasionally using an electronic shaver when I am extra hairy in the face (I frequently wear my facial hair in different styles at varied lengths, although I never go for the all-out lumberjack look; I also sometimes go totally clean shaven). This shaver states in the instructions that it may feel very different on your face and will take time to adjust tothe feeling; The instructions were very accurate, disturbingly so.
First, I would say that past electric shavers I've used have felt good against my skin, but have typically not been able to cut as close as a traditional razor. I believe this Panasonic is trying to emulate the feeling of having a razor against your skin (especially the touch-up trimmer built into it), but instead, it creates what i can only describe as a feeling that it is actually "gripping/holding/pulling up" your skin in the razor as yo move it across your face. I have NEVER felt that kind of feeling with ANY kind of shaver, and although it does not hurt, it definitely feels uncomfortable and worrisome. Since my facial hair does not grow at a rate that requires daily shaving, this feeling against my skin would definitely take an extended amount of time to adapt to.
Skin feelings aside, my biggest problem with this razor is that it does not get as close of a cut as you would think considering how it feels against the skin. I found it to be fine as an accompanying tool to a traditional razor, but much too uncomfortable against the skin and not a close enough cut/shave to replace using a traditional razor altogether.
For someone who is coming from traditional razor use, this might not be the product for you if you are looking for an electronic replacement for your razor, however, if you are just looking to supplement or prep your traditional razor use, or to have an electronic tool to cut your facial hair quicker when you have grown it out, this performs fine in spite of the skin gripping feeling.
I would NOT recommend this to anyone who is coming from traditional razor usage that also shaves daily or multiple times a day, due to the skin gripping feeling and the inability to get an absolutely clean close shave. Everyone else looking for a supplemental shaving tool should be fine with this. Would only recommend to friends who already use an electric shaver as their sole/primary shaving tool.

Solid Speaker/Crisp Sound, except for the Bass...

I am definitely a fan of Sony products in general, especially when it comes to sound reproduction, however, I think their effort with this bluetooth speaker fell short in its main attraction, the Bass.
The speaker has a solid sound overall, and it is very intuitive to operate, with device pairing and general device controls laid out in a user-friendly format. I've paired it with a few different devices, and it is the easiest/quickest to use of any of the bluetooth devices that I currently own (including some other Sony products).
When it comes to sound, it has a very clear crisp sound, with two exceptions. At higher volumes, the speaker sounds a bit muddy, although for its size, it still handles the higher volumes pretty well. The primary issue is that these speakers are billed as being "extra bass" bluetooth speakers, and although they do give better bass reproduction than average speakers in this size category, the bass does not capture the lower-frequency lows, leaving me as a bass-lover longing for more from a speaker that seems like it should be able to give me the full scale bass experience that I love.
For the more casual music listener that is either not concerned much with bass, or who plans to pair this with another speaker (a feature included on this unit), or someone who plans to use this for reasons other than music reproduction, this speaker will work fine. For die-hard bass lovers wanting a speaker that captures the lowest lows and produces them clearly at higher volumes, you will probably want to pass on this one, or grab 2 and pair them to get some extra umph with the bass (but if you are going to get two at full price, you may as well get a better-equipped speaker altogether).
I am giving this a 3, although it is more of a 3.5 (I'm rounding down since the main bass feature did not perform as well as expected). Not a bad speaker (especially for pure vocals), but there are better options out there (by Sony, JBL, and others) with a more balanced sound and stronger Bass. Would recommend to anyone not specifically looking for Bass.

You would probably have to check with your local bestbuy regarding if/when they plan to have more in stock at the store, but as an FYI, I went to purchase this item at my local BestBuy store after checking online and seeing that same-day pick-up was available. When I got to the store, a sales clerk tried to assist me with locating this item, and he could not find it (and proceeded to try to tell me it was not available anymore; This is the second time this has happened to me with a sales clerk at BestBuy). I simply went home and ordered it online for pick-up at the store, and they had it ready for me shortly thereafter (I could have done this at the store and just waited, if I'd had my smart phone with me). My point, check online to see if the item is in stock and able to be picked up from the store. If it is, order it online to make sure that you have no issues with undisplayed inventory at the store.
