Mount was well built and fairly easy to install but in all honesty it does not tilt far enough up or down to allow easy access to the wiring connections on the back of the set. The mount should have been designed to set out at least 3 to 4 inches from the wall then by tilting it up or down you would be able to view and access the wiring connections. I could not use the multi-position mount as the mounting base was not wide enough to allow me to connect the set to the wall studs which were not in the center of the opening when the set would go and there was less then 2 inches of space on each side of the TV as book cases were installed on that wall also.

great set but required pros to install and setup

The set does everything plus some but the setup was very un-user friendly and it did not come with a users manual other then that I give it a 4.8 rating and I had excellent results from my last TV which was also an LG.

If you have a good search engine plug in the brand and year and exact model number of your PC and it should bring up the correct chip you need. Best Buy no longer stocked the one I needed so I had to go elsewhere but they did tell me exactly which one I needed and it came from a reliable source. The Geeks have never let me down why I renew my support contract every year.

need to know what kind of tv stand will hold my 36" panasonic CT-36HX42 36" PureFlat HDTV tube tv with weight of 217 pounds?
I did not see a single unit made to assemble yourself that would support the weight you are talking about, you will have to search for one by weight and most likely you are talking re-enforced wood construction not press board. If you could find one the old style entertainment cabinets made for Cathode Ray TV's would hold that weight but have not seen one of those in years.
