Took this backpack on a 10 mile hike in Yosemite to the top of Nevada Falls. It held my DSLR, an iPad in a Lifeproof case, several extra lenses, filters, a battery and 4 bottle of water. It was comfortable on the long strenuous hike and was convenient to use. It's well padded and compartmentalized for all your camera gear. It's not a deep unpadded sack like most backpacks. It will serve as my permanent camera case. It is not big enough for even the smallest laptop but it's perfect for an iPad/DSLR combo.

It converted every DVI within 6 feet to a VGA. I now have all the VGA I can handle. It worked so well that It's a good thing the neighbors house isn't any closer or it may have converted all of their DVIs to VGAs too.

Are the bungee cords on the front of the backpack strong enough to carry a full size tripod?
Yes. The cords do not support all the weight of the tripod. The weight is supported by a pocket on the bottom of the pack. The pocket extends down below the backpack leaving plenty of room for even the largest collapsible tripod.
