Danny Boyle's 1996 black comedy "Trainspotting" was a great film that became a cult classic for its remarkable portrayal of a group of disenfranchised Scottish youths. 21 years later comes the sequel, "T2 Trainspotting" with the original cast reassembled in a postscript to the original film which itself is destined to become another classic.

This is a beautiful steelbook presentation of the 3 Mummy movies made from 1999 to 2008 and the prequel "The Scorpion King". These movies aren't masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination but they are entertaining and worth watching and are a great deal at 4 films for under $20 and in a collectable steelbook to boot!

This sequel to "Batman Begins" is even better than the original entry of Christopher Nolan's stylish superhero trilogy. Christian Bale returns as The Dark Knight facing the psychotic mass murderer The Joker, superbly played by the late Heath Ledger, who won a posthumous Academy Award for this final on-screen performance.

Another cool steelbook presentation of a great film. Tarantino's "Kill Bill" is an action classic that has become a cult film like all those cult martial arts, samurai and blaxploitation films that it pays homage to. I already have the DVD but I had to add the Blu Ray steelbook to my collection, especially at the great price!

"Logan" is one of the best of the X-Men series and Best Buy's special edition steelbook presents the film as it should be presented, with great cover artwork. John Landis' Three Amigos comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original widescreen ratio of the 1986 theatrical release. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English, Spanish, and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include cast and crew bios. This is obviously a title no one gave much thought to before releasing. It is redeemed slightly by the inexpensive list price, but the unimpressive picture and sound as well as the lack of extras is sure to displease fans of this cult favorite.

This was a bargain bin find for $3.99. I remembered enjoying the film when it first came out and I find that it's just as funny now. The director John Landis has had a troubled career but his comedies, like this one, just as his superb thriller "Into the Night" seem to be unjustly neglected and underrated.
