I got two of these for $105.99 each after having Best Buy price match with Microcenter (they initially told me they don't price match with that store but after asking for a manager, they magically did). What a great deal considering the last time I bought one of these (the 850 Evo), I paid $140.
Anyway, this is the perfect drive for storing games, photos, videos, operating systems, anything you want to access FAST. Also, Samsung improved the warranty on these over the previous 850 Evo- still 5 years but now double the TBW (terabytes written) to 300 instead of 150, meaning, apparently, that these drives are more reliable than the previous iteration.

I have over 200 games on my Xbox One X, quite a few on my PS4 Pro, and a couple hundred more between my Steam, GOG, Twitch, Origin, Uplay, Blizzard, Microsoft Store, and Oculus accounts. Out of all of those games, this is the one the kids want to play. I first got the standard edition but after seeing how much the chidrens loved it, I went and picked up the Legendary Edition so they could play with all the character. I think it's worth it.
For the adults (I don't think these things really matter to kids in the single digits), 4K HDR is really cool in this game. This is a very colorful game with great textures and an awesome art style. It's a good one for showcasing your expensive TV. Also sounds really good on a nice, beefy sound system.

So, maybe for $60 this game is perhaps deserving of some criticism, but get it on sale for $5.99 with My Best Buy Offer ($4.79 with additional Gamers Club discount), and there's really very little to complain about. I loved the first game, although I didn't play through a whole lot of it. Same with this game so take this review for what it's worth. I think the game looks amazing, especially on a nice TV, and I really like the game mechanics. If you can pick this up for under $5, it's a no-brainer.

VR is finally here!
I have been reading a book called "CTRL ALT Revolt" by Nick Cole that features a blind female protagonist who uses a VR headset with a neural link. This got me thinking again about buying a VR headset. It just so happened that the oculus was on sale for $399 with touch controllers. I couldn't resist.
This was my first VR experience aside from one they had at Six Flags when I was a kid. If only I could travel back in time and share this modern experience with that kid!
Being far from perfect, the experience that the oculus offers almost completely eclipses any imperfections. If you can afford it and have a computer that can run it, I say get it.
