What does "reformatting required for Mac" mean exactly? I'm a novice at backing up data.
I have a MacBook Pro and would like to use this device to back up my data. What does "reformatting required for Mac" mean exactly? How easy is this task for a novice?
Windows and Mac OS use different formats for writing to a HDD. you can:
A. Buy a Mac specific HDD
B. Buy this HDD and re-format it to work with Mac OS (Google is your friend)
C. Buy a third party driver, such as Paragon, so that your Mac can read & write to an NTFS drive like this one.
