I am confused... if i buy a psn Card... as a gift for my nephew, who just recently bought a pre owned ps4... is that to make his console have it's own online internet access?
Depending on which card you purchase. One card is to allow him to have eternal access to his games that he buys on line, he would be able to access it anywhere that has a PS device. That card is every three months or yearly. It is cheaper for yearly. He would access his games, with his account, by logging in. The regular card allows him to by games for his PS, or other tools he can use in the games to defeat his opponents. or buy coins or shields, extra lives etc..
