Realy poorly engineered

What an absolute piece of trash. This is one of the worst sw engineering efforts ever on this planet. Mine will not connect from android nor ios phones. Bybsome miracle 1/8 tries on the first day was able to connect. That lasted w whole 3 days. Then I came home to a solid red led. Meaning it is waiting in config mode. And the 20 or sob times I've tried, I cannot get it to successfully connect. Just watching this piece of stupidity go thru the connection sequence shows what a piece of garbage the unit is. It reboots at least 3 times, and each reboot seems to take longer. After 3 minutes of up and downs, different led patterns each time, it finally reboots with a red solid led and the app says my internet is not working.. But it's working will enough for me to write this review!! Junk!! I had been happy with the lock, but after seeing this engineering marvel, I refuse to have any product from these hacks in my possession, and will get rid of the lock as well. This should be very simple, no idea how they could have messed this up so poorly. Please don't believe the company sponsored success stories here, this could not possibly work reliably for anyone.

Great when it does not disconnect!

The distance is outstanding, when it stays connected. Super fast. However i believe there is a firmware issue that causes you to get disconnected at random times. Netgear support community has over 6 pages as of this issue as of this review. Do your homework first:

I have been having network woes for a bit now. I have a heavy network load in the house. The house itself is a single story home built in the mid 90's so I didn't think I should have the network issues I did...but man did I. My original setup was the most recent generation Apple Time Capsule. It original did fine, though there was some signal loss once you were on our back deck. I decided to add a newer Airport Express on the back deck to both boost the network and have Airplay music back there. But even with that it seemed the network was poor around the house. I'd normally get between 40 & 50 Mbps if I was in the room the Time Capsule was in, but the speed elsewhere was not great...20's in some parts, 10-15 on our decks and it seemed erratic at times.
It's important to note in the house are: 2 smartphones, 2 tablets, a laptop, 2 wireless cameras, a wireless alarm system, a Nest, 2 Apple TV's, Smart TV, 2 game consoles and maybe a couple other items I'm forgetting now. So there is a pretty good demand on the network...around 20-21 devices.
After trying different things...like changing router placement, etc...I threw up my hands and decided to purchase one of the new mesh systems. I had been eyeing the AMPLIFI HD for a while...but was hesitant to lay out the money for it. I finally did bite the bullet though the other day after it had been languishing in my cart for some time.

I've attached many screens before so I know how to do it, but the edges peel off, and once they peel off the screen starts cracking as it'll catch on something. I have multiple cracks along the edge as a result despite not dropping it. Do not recommend!

Camera is a little better and you notice it for sure. It is a lot better in low lights conditions.
SPEED, I was using a 6s and I notice a much snappier Safari and iMessage screens. Part of it may be IOS 10 but pages pop really fast. It is way way faster than the original 6.
Black looks awesome!!! But is is so slick. There are no lines and it looks like a solid 1 piece product. I saw the Glossy Jet Black and it is a work of art but it show fine scratches. So most people will use a case which hides the back anyway so maybe color is not that important. Mainly if you want a white front or black.
I love the new home button, took about 5 minutes to get use to and I don't miss the old home button at all.

The premise behind this show was enough to get me to start watching. This show is great crime drama, but what sets it apart from other crime shows is how intense the relationships are between the main characters. The show seems to be about the characters first and then the crimes. It's psychologically engaging.
