I was fortunate enough to be one of those people, and considering Hollywood's more misses than hits in the horror category, you'd be foolish to pass this up! Okay, okay, okay, die hard fans (like me) of the books will always say, "Films just can't compete with books." However, I'm not as hardcore as post people. The Hobbit Trilogy is definitely worth having, especially if you already have The Lord of the Rings films. If you don't have either film series, get both. I grabbed 'em both during Black Friday week, so I saved a tone. However, don't let that price tag deter you from either set of films. Just get the films already!

The Lord of the Rings' films have something for everybody. I'm one of many people who've read the books countless times as a child. I have to say the film series did not disappoint. As an avid reader, I always read the books first prior to seeing the movie. sometimes I'm disappointed and sometimes I'm not. The Lord of the Rings' films are a must have for anyone's collection.
