I had to pick this one up for my movie collection. I do not hvae on DVD. Like any older movie made for blu ray they do not show that great. All in all still a great watch and good one to thrown in when nothing else to watch. This moviw always keeps me thinking. The plot is sooo twisted..

What's great about it: The movie itself is a cult classic. Always a fun watch
What's not so great: Not visually appealing. Such an "old" movie for blu ray

The only reason I bought this movie was to complete my set. It should be redone. They dont even stick to the name of the movie. I can think of a dozen plots in a minute that would be way better than this movies plot. There a re a couple of scenes that make you laugh but other than that the movie was over before you know it and keaves youi wondering, what just happened...

This was a somewhat original story and an intriguing one. Great actors and the CG is beautiful on blu ray. Action was great. I wanted more and more. The only thing that kept me wondering was that I wish there were more scenes or better explanations on the enemy in the movie. Kind of vague and leaves you piecing togerther the plot.

What's great about it: The CG and story catches you especially if you are the sci-fi type.
What's not so great: A little bit more explanation on the origin of the enemy would have been nice but overall nothing else.

Even if you did not grow up watching Star Trek you will and should fall in love with this movie and the last one to this recent saga. The characters are well known in the movie world and the story and action is awesome. Just great movies. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to watch just a great movie that will keep you in it until the end.
