Although higher priced than most lightning cables, this one is worth the added cost. It is well built and can withstand a lot of plugging and unplugging, whereas most do not. The length is perfect for when you use your phone for GPS apps, etc.

I have been through a dozen (at least) windshield mounts over the past 10 years. I use them for my iPhone when i travel so i can use the maps on it for traffic and directions. This is the first one that is as easy to remove as it is to install. Every other one i have had has broken after 6 or so uses. If you have to remove/install frequently this mount is a must.

Do the large 1.5 liter wine bottles fit in this unit?
They do fit; however, if you don't remove a shelf, then you really should only use the top or bottom for the 1.5 litre bottles. Best to use the 750 ml. bottles with this one.

Is there a converter box for a TV to add HDMI port to use HDMI cable for blu-ray player?
There are several, RocketFish is the best. I use them all the time, BUT with TV, you would have have a VGA or DisplayPort input to the TV to use the converter. Another thing to keep in mind is that the quality will not be Blu-Ray quality when using the converter with VGA.
