Lowered my cable bill

I Looked at serveral other voice over IP systems this one has good reviews and you don't need it hooked to a PC. This reduced my monthly cable bill $35 you will still have about $5 in state taxes to pay every month. You can start using this phone system with a number you select online but if you want to keep your old number as I did its like $35 to have it ported over which takes 3 weeks then afterwards you can cancel your old phone service.

What's great about it: Clear and has built in message recorder

What's not so great: If you to want keep your current phone number it takes 3 weeks to port over

Great Performance

Several times faster than the Medicom modem I was paying monthly for and this has reduced the bill $10/mo. In addition no more pause in watching online movies or playing games.

can this be used instead of TWC modem

would like to buy modem instead of leasing TWC modem

It should I would contact your cable provider and tell them your going to use your own equipment, and verify with them. Once you purchase it then contact Tech support to setup your modem they will need the Mac address off the new modem. Good luck
