Looks good and easy to install USB outlet. It does require a full depth box and that there are not too many wires in the box. Works great and makes it convenient to charge USB devices even if you can't find your charger, as long as there is a USB cable around.

I only need 13" of ducting to reach my wall vent. Can the 23" to 8' semi-rigid ducting be cut down to fit?
Yes it can be cut down; but remember that you should leave enough extra ducting to allow for moving dryer forward if you need to get in behind it.
