Good value, requires a few tweaks

A full year of free time unlimited plus a 2 year warranty make this a great purchase for kids. Out the box, while it has a lot of content not all of it was appealing to my child. However I was able to put in kid friendly games (Subway Surfers, for example) that are not found in Free Time, thanks to the parental controls.

great yet overpriced

I've experimented with many headphones/earbuds the past few years while purposely avoiding beats by dre due to their price. Some may think I'm crazy when I say that the best headphones/earbuds I've ever owned were the Zune premium headphones, but if you ever used them, you'd agree that it had the perfect balance of treble and bass. Since then it's been hard to find anything comparable to those, yet the beats studio comes very close. The treble isn't bad, it has good bass, it's very comfortable on the ears, and the noise cancelling feature is impressive. Try these on with no music, plug in the audio wire to the headphones and outside noise is reduced drastically. You have to charge the headset for the noise cancelling work, but battery life lasts a while.
I generally don't like spending $300 on a set of cans, yet in my experience there really isn't anything else that can compare to these at a lower price point. 4/5

After mulling over it for some time I finally decided to purchase the SodaStream starter kit over a month ago, and so far I've enjoyed this product. It's quite simple to set up and use, and it doesn't take up significant space in the kitchen. It comes with a 1L bottle, a CO2 tank, and 6 sample flavors, my favorites being orange, root beer, and energy drink. A second bottle would've been convenient in order to have another flavor available in the fridge. My only gripe is that it may not seem like a money saver initially but it will be in the long run.

The PS4 is a graphical powerhouse, able to deliver massive game worlds with impressive clarity and detail. 8GB of RAM allows for serious multitasking potential, complementing the great apps and features that make up the PS4 experience. The PlayStation brand of consoles has an impressive history of delivering world-class exclusive games, and the trend is sure to continue with the PS4. The growing blockbuster catalog is backed by a library of free-to-play and indie games, giving you flexibility in how you pay and play. The PS4 also acts as a social hub, with several built-in features that take advantage of the social networks you're already using. The controller's Share button opens up a world of video sharing, with the option to stream your gameplay live or record it to edit and post later. PlayStation Vita owners will enjoy the connectivity that ties the two devices together, from Remote Play, which allows you to play your PS4 games on your Vita's screen over a local Wi-Fi network, to Cross-Buy, which allows you to purchase a game digitally only once and play it on both your PS4 and your Vita. All PS4 consoles will need a firmware update and must be connected to the Internet to complete the update. While your console will not always need to be connected to the Internet, a one-time connection is required for the update. Online multiplayer requires a paid PlayStation Plus membership. Some features require a broadband Internet connection; ISP fees apply. PS3 games, controllers and some accessories are not compatible with the PS4.

There's no doubt that the system is a lot more powerful than it's predecessor. It's faster, graphics are superb (you can see for yourself by searching for comparison videos online) and even quieter than the PS3. But those improvements alone don't justify spending $400 to play games that you can already enjoy on current systems. It's better to wait a few months when Sony starts releasing better exclusives.
If you enjoyed adding your personal collection of MP3's, videos and pictures from external media on your PS3 then you'll be disappointed to know that the PS4 does NOT allow those features. No MP3 or music CD playback, no external media support which is a major step backwards. One can only hope that Sony can remedy this with a future update but nothing has been confirmed so far. It does come with a free trial of Music Unlimited, and it's actually a really good service. You can listen to millions of songs online on your PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PC, and smartphone. The quality is crystal clear, and you can even download the music on your phone and listen to it in places like the subway where you can't get a connection. The service will cost $10 a month afterwards ($5 plan only allows playback on PS3 and PS4) but it's a nice service to have, especially if you like listening to music while playing games since this is the only option available to do so.
Bottom line, it's a great system. Just wait a bit.

What's not so great: Missing features, no launch titles that justify buying a console right away.
