It works but still isn't slick

Syndicate feels fine. The frame rate, the graphics, the movement is all pretty good. But there are small issues that hamper the overall experience, such as the grappling hook hot-spot targets are not as generous as Batman. You'll find yourself mashing the button in hopes of finding and hitting a target as you run through the street. With no glide, there's no auto-correct for missed jumps or to help align better shots. It's serviceable, but feels a bit limited.
The audio design might be what saves Syndicate. Fantastic music and voice acting (with appropriate-ish accents this time) make this a fun game to listen to.

It's fine but feels like there's less Health

Halo 5 feels fine. It's a fun game, but at the same time, many of the changes give it the same pacing as Call of Duty. The assault rifle damage range feels incredibly high, and is able to take down a Spartan in multiplayer in under a second. In the few Warzone maps I played, many of the capture points were within assault rifle range of each other, so the pistol wasn't even needed.
In the end, if feels a bit like Titanfall crossed with Advanced Warfare's dodge ability, which is ok but not the pacing I come to a Halo game expecting. I'm a bit let down.

The old GH title is now a new style rhythm game. Can be fun, and Guitar Hero TV is a neat way to experience a large collection of new songs. However, since you can't easily practice and replay those songs without a microtransaction purchase, that's a bit frustrating. You basically need to use the Disc songs to practice until you are good enough 'to play any random thing thrown at you'.
Or not care about being good? Treat it as a pass-the-guitar party game.
