The Samsung 7.2 cu. ft. gas dryer has eight preset cycles to accommodate all your drying needs. Moisture sensors help protect your laundry by detecting when it's reached the optimal level of dryness. And for added convenience, the Lint Filter indicator light on the control panel is illuminated when the filter is in need of cleaning.

I heard without the standing agitator your clothes ball up and tangle, is this true?

Does this model require a specific type of detergent?
I am aware that some HE washing machines need the new HE washing detergent (looks like pills or small balls), and I was wondering if that is required for this model? I have filtered well water, but I just wanted to know if it is needed.
There is a mention at the slot for adding detergent, It reads " For best results use high efficiency detergent." However I have used ordinary detergent with fine results. I use city water.

Can we specify which side of the dryer to attach the hinge? When do we specify?
The installation crew attached the door on the left side of the dryer enabling it to open on the right side at my request. I made this request at the time of delivery/installation.
