My 3rd and last review was the purchase of the Sony ( keep the same brand all around to avoid devices not reading another properly ). The Blu-ray player was smaller than I had expected. The player did upscale regular Blu-ray disc into a slight 3D picture. I'm not sure whether it was my original custom settings on the TV or if this player actually did the up-scaling but regardless, extremely happy with the quality of viewing and the simple operation of the player. The complete package Sony all the way 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart 2160p TV, Sony 2.1 Channel Soundbar and the Sony Upscaling 4K Wi-Fi Blu-ray player will be enjoyed until the next breakthrough in viewing technology

As stated in my previous review of the above TV, the Sony Soundbar added an extra dimension to my viewing experience. The 2.1 Channel was capable after custom settings to deliver a wall-shaking quality sound. The Subwoofer could have been more deep and audible but regardless, I was extremely happy with this combo. Sony was always my choice in electronics since they have been in the business for so long. Their only true competitor is Yamaha and I would rate both evenly depending on the amount you want to spend. In summary, a truly great package that Best Buy put together for sale and I believe this TV and Soundbar Combo flew off the shelves

If you read the description of this Sony TV, you can see already envision the quality and workmanship of this product. After customizing the settings and updating the software, I have a 2160 p 4K HD viewing experience like no other. It simply is amazing the technology this product is capable of. The high pixels after my own settings regarding blu-ray movies actually looks like a live camcorder picture in addition to a 3D effect. Absolutely amazing. The Sony TV also came with the Sony 2.1 Soundbar with a wireless Subwoofer which I also updated the software and customize my own settings. The sound quality is awesome and wall-shaking. For the combined price of $1400.00 which my favorite store is Best Buy and 24 month financing, I have no complaints and only compliments for this complete ensemble that Best Buy offered. Kudos to Best Buy from a loyal customer now and forever

Do this unit work with Sony XBR-55X850C tv? I bought this unit for for it 3D capability but want the 4K because I may upgrade my tv. Problem is unit don't work at all when connected to my tv purchase on Jan of 2018. I have the latest HDMI cable.
Works perfectly well and gives the XBR850C a HDR quality
