A familiar story brought back to life

Primary interest in this film was in locale that it was filmed which is an area we frequent during summer months. Story did not depict gangsters as particularly bad individuals but law enforcement, specifically FBI was characterized as brutal, corrupt and generally unsavory which was possibly factual. Aside from personal greed it was never clear what these criminals ultimate object was. Good acting and recreation of the times.

What's great about it: Excellent recreation of gangster life in the 30's

What's not so great: Some technical errors; newer cars on streets than date of events

I would recommend this to a friend!
