Feels weird, scrolls poorly

Was told it was a Bluetooth enabled mouse, by a BestBuy associate but sadly it was not. The touch scroll pad was inconsistent. Sometimes it was too sensitive, others non responsive. I prefer physical scroll wheels, but thought I'd give it a shot. I like that it doesn't take a lot of room when off, but when curved and on, my thumb and pinky were lost while trying to find a way to hold it properly.
