Nothing but fun. Yes, it is "more of the same" as Shadow of Mordor, but also so much more. The combat is different enough that it's not a complete repeat, but the bones are all there. It does feel like you are carving your own story and not following a rail as much like the first installment. Have not been bored by it at all!

Never thought so much game could be in such a tiny cart like this. I have honestly never played a Monster Hunter title, and kept holding out, thinking they couldn't be that great. Well, I'm an idiot for waiting, but apparently this is still a great place to start since it combines elements of the past titles with new features, so you get the best or most of the better parts of multiple titles (hence "Generations"). Recommended! Lots of learn, lots to do!
