While this game isn't as good as some of the other installments in the Tales of series, Symphonia or Abyss for example, it's still got interesting and likable characters, as well as a fun battle system. Like Tales of Xillia 1 though, the environments leave something to be desired.

I honestly prefer the Wii U version of the game, which allows for the use of Gamecube controllers, and has more content overall. However, this version is still a great deal of fun, it runs smoothly and the pace is quicker and less floaty than Brawl, which is always a plus.
