This LG Super UHD 4K smart TV offers advanced technologies such as Color Prime, TruMotion 240Hz and Ultra Luminance for a premium 4K viewing experience. Comparing this TV against others playing a Finding Nemo promo, this TV and a Visio with full array LED, seemed dull in comparison. Seeing how everyone who has reviewed this TV seems to love it, please explain.
The TV's in the store are rarely calibrated, I can't speak for the Vizio but this TV needs to be tweaked out of the box. It may not be the brightest TV on the planet, but bright doesn't always equal good picture quality. The backlight needs to be turned up, and Dynamic Contrast enabled. The default settings DO look very dim. Ask the salesperson to let you play with the remote and enable standard or vivid picture settings.
