Well Built, Albeit a bit Bright

When I was looking for power conditioners I immediately looked to Panamax, as they have a name and reputation for making good power conditioning products. I found out they were picked up by Furman, who is also very well-known for making solid quality products.
Looking at the line-up of Panamax products I turned to this one, which does pretty much everything minus voltage regulation. For the money I saved I think it was worth it and was still a good choice compared to the more expensive 5400. There are plenty of outlets on the back and the power cable that is included is not only beefy, but replaceable and has a nice retention clip in place. You can also rack-mount this thing down the road if you choose to do so.
My only gripe about this unit is the overly bright lighting. I think it's super cool, but a lot of people will hate it. There is a way to turn the lighting to dim or even off I think and that will save people a lot of grief down the road. Aside from that this is a great unit and did make a difference in taking some of hiss out of my stereo. Mind you this could be placebo, but you're really buying this as insurance for your electronics.

Excellent Album w/Surprisingly Excellent Packaging

Coming into this album I had high expectations and low expectations. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is hyped as one of Kanye's best releases and one of the better albums released in recent history. That being said I haven't felt much of an attachment to his recent releases because I feel that they bank on you relating more to his public persona rather than standing on their own.
That being said, this release does live up to most of the hype. I played this through several times and didn't find any particular song that I wanted to skip. A lot of singles on here are still very good and there are some secret hits (Heck of a Life is one of them, and yes the title had to be censored here). Kanye's vinyl releases are notorious for having bad pressing quality, but this one sounded rather nice. I didn't notice any particular compression or extraneous noise that would keep others from enjoying the album.
I was a bit concerned that with such lavish packaging (in the vinyl version) that it would be damaged during shipping. Surprisingly even with a soaked mailer that was kind of "shrinkwrapped" cardboard the album came in perfect condition. I would have preferred a traditional record mailer but if it does the job then so be it.
So in summation, yes, I would recommend this album to the casual Kanye fan, as well as a die-hard. The vinyl pressing is of solid quality and the packaging is very nice. And with this repressing you won't spend an arm and a leg to have this in your collection.

A fantastic, albeit quick, playthrough experience

Until Dawn is a great homage to horror movie fans and serves those who enjoy relatively short games. Much like the TellTale games (Wolf Among Us, Walking Dead, etc.) this game can be completed in under 10 hours and offers a good amount of replayability based on all the various decisions you can make. If you're a fan of scary, decision-driven games and don't have much time this is a cheap and fun title to explore.
