I bought this PrimaPhoto tripod because I left my old tripod at home, and I needed one fast. This one looked OK, I never heard of the brand, but the demo model looked as solid as the Manfrotto tripod, but the Manfrotto wasn’t available, so I bought the PrimaPhoto. It is a sturdy tripod and held my camera very solidly. It is quite versatile and compact when stored. It also doubles as a mono-pod, so I can leave my mono-pod at home now. Yay me!

Firstly I have a Mac. I am using OS X Mavericks
I know it doesn't include "Mac Compatible" on the packaging, but I hooked it up and it works right out of the box. It burns Blu-ray and reads and writes dvd±r with ease-and fast, too. The only problem I had was watching a store-bought Blu-ray movie disc. Macs don't play well with Blu-ray. However, after some fine-tuning with the software "vlc", it plays the main feature perfectly.
So overall this LG works just fine. And it's quiet, too.

This is a fine tripod. Solid. It has a bit of wobble when fully extended, so don't do that. I shoot multiple exposures and must have perfect sync. With care, this will perform well.
