Overall, great wifi thermostat. Nice to have 2nd temp sensor. Has some unique features like "follow me" and "auto away". Only negative is you cannot set more than one "at home" setting.

Decent product for the price

Overall, these units work well. I was especially attracted to the fact they can play the same or different DVDs. I was also happily surprised they came with AC power plugs, so they can be used places other than the car.
On the flip side, the downside is the seat back holders. The buckle on one broke the first time using it, and I was forced to use other methods to tighten one of the straps holding it to the seat. The straps holding the unit keep you from opening/closing the units without undoing the straps. This becomes a bit of a pain when changing out movies. It would also have been nice to have a remote, so that the parents in the front don't have to keep getting out of their seats to try and start a new movie/show for the toddlers in back.
Overall, a decent product that could benefit from a better designed seat back holder.

We also own a Roku player, and found the Fire stick to be on par. Menu graphics are better than Roku, but a bit more confusing as they are heavily geared towards movies/shows offered on Amazon Prime. Even so, we still got all the same channels we get on Roku. Be aware that the stick does NOT work without the included power cord being plugged in (i.e. the HDMI connection does not supply power to the stick), so be sure to have an available plug nearby. Unit was very easy to set up, but will require an Amazon account in order to do so.

Good alternative to external HD

WD MyCloud was fairly simple to install and get running. Android and iPhone apps that support are also pretty straightforward. Software allows as much or as little control for user access as you need. It's a great alternative to limited space on other cloud services. Only complaint is the streaming of videos, as the streaming speed to a variety of devices is less than adequate, with multiple buffering pauses in a 5min. video. This problem seems to be worse for Apple devices (iPhone, iPad), but even happens with my DLNA devices on the network.

Battery life?
How long is the battery life on these?... how long do they take to recharge and do they function while plugged into the car adaptor?
No batteries in these units. Must either use the car or wall plug adapters (both are included).

No sound on second unit when connected?
When connecting both units to watch the same movie, I get picture & sound out of unit A but only picture out of unit B. Is it supposed to work that way, or should I have sound out of both units?
Should definitely have sound on second unit too.

Are headrest straps velcro?
I had an RCA dual dvd set that had Velcro straps (which was nice), and I also had another cheapo set that was just a strap and loop. It was a piece of junk! How do these attach?
The head rest attachment is done in two parts: 1) Velcro straps are used to hold the unit to the holder, and 2) pull - adjust straps (like ones you'd see for adjusting straps on a backpack) used to strap the holder to your car headrest

Can you attach four screens to watch the same movie?
Not without having to buy special some type of special splitter. Only one unit comes with a video/audio feed output, both come with an input.

If this is connected to my home network would it be possible that I could access this away from home if I know the IP address or something else?
Yes, that's one of the best features. You can even use a computer that's not yours, as WD has a website you can log into and gain access to your MyCloud.

is it possible to increase the disk space by added an external drive?
I'm worried I will run out of space and would like to be able to increase storage space.
Not that I can figure out. The unit does have a USB 3.0 port, but it seems it can only be used to transfer data from/to an external drive.

Is it possible to sabe photos from the app into the camera roll in IPad / IPhone?
Yes, the MyCloud and WDPhoto apps allow you to export photos to your Camera Roll.
