Why do I hear an intermittent tonal sound when the called party is speaking instead of the words.
Today, I returned/replaced an HBS-800 as I experienced, and am still, an intermittent tonal sound when the called party is speaking instead of the words. Therefore, I miss some of what is said and have to keep asking them to repeat themselves. This is quite annoying for both of us.
Check the volume on your phone & headset. Make sure you're not too far out of range from your phone when walking around and talking on the headset
