I bought these to listen to audiobooks @ work. I hoped it'd block out co-worker conversations.They didn't help, though. Could I be doing something wrong or is the ANC primarily for music? Any headphone suggestions to block noise & listen to audiobooks?

I would recommend the Bose® - Soundtrue® Ultra In-ear Headphones. They are in ear but comfortable enough to wear all day. I use them at work and they cut out all noise.
