Halloween is a film that was released all the way back in 1978, and is often considered a classic. I however, just saw this film in 2018. All in all, I feel this movie holds up fairly well. Suspension is probably this film's strongest suit. The music used in the film is perfectly crafted to the atmosphere and can definitely give one chills. Due to the age of the film, some scenes can come off as a bit cheesy. Despite those scenes, I definitely enjoyed Halloween, and I believe every slasher movie fan should at least view it once. In addition to the movie, this copy of Halloween comes with a small paper back book that gives insight to the production of the film. I found the book to be very interesting. This version also has a fair amount of special features (which I have admittedly not looked into yet). Overall, this Blu-ray is a great way to watch the film.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a fun game that I and many other people enjoyed immensely. That is why I was surprised that Nintendo and Ubisoft didn't make specific Mario Rabbid amiibo to go with. This figure however is a very sturdy substitute. First off, the figure (the six inch tall version) has good size and weight to it. The details on the Rabbid Mario is good. It looks just like the character in the game, there are however some VERY slight discolorations on the rim of the cap. The gun (which is called the "Mushroom Marauder" in game) is fully attached to the figure, but looks great in my opinion. The entire figure is attached to a removable solid black stand. I love the figure, and I would probably give it 4.5/5 if it wasn't for the price. It's suggested price is $39.99, which pretty expensive. I got mine on clearance for only $18.99, which is FAR more fair in my opinion.

After initial seeing the initial leaks for this game, I had some concerns. I am a huge fan of the Mario series and I had mostly negative feelings torwards the rabbids originally. However, after playing through the entire main game, I can safely say that Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a more than competent game. The storyline was entertaining with cute cut scenes thrown in there. The gameplay is a tactical turn based strategy like (think Fire Emblem or XCOM). It works very well and can be a solid challenge. In fact, this challenge might scare off some players at times, but I always had the urge to comeback. The multiplayer (while not extensive as the single player) is enjoyable. The graphics are appropriately colorful and cartoon-like. The music is well crafted, with a huge high light for me being the World 3 boss. The characters are likable even with little voice work. Post game challenges will keep anyone busy who thought the main game was too easy. A minor complaint is that occasionally there is slowdown and frame drops, but it's not too common and some of them have since been patched up. While this game does have little issues, for me personally it's a solid 4.5/5 and I am excited for the Donkey Kong DLC coming Spring 2018.
