Nothing will ever touch the first Phantasm but this is a decent sequel with the return of Angus Scrimm as the Tall Man and Reggie Bannister in his original role. Mike however is played by a different actor and big brother Jody is just a memory in this installment !!

If you've seen the original prepare yourself for a different movie. While the heart of the movie remains the same...possessions...bloody killings...etc...the storyline is quite different and not as hokey as the original.

Excellent movie on a tough character

This in my opinion is a fantastic character study on a very tough subject given most of Hoffa's dealings were very secretive for such a public figure. Now how much is fact and how much is fiction we will never know, but I am certain a great deal of what is portrayed in the film hits very close to home from what I have read on the subject. In any event, it is a very interesting film with great acting.
