I enjoy watching movies that don't have a lot of commercials, hype and buzz, putting them in and going along for the ride. Sometimes I'm surprised, and this one was no exception. Might not have been heavy on effects, just like the first, but an overall entertaining and interesting story. A good monster movie.

As a fan of the original ninja turtles from the 90's, it was enjoyable to watch this movie, with some more of the old characters introduced. Not a deep movie or great acting, a typical Michael Bay film. Enjoyed lots of action sequences but ultimately forgettable.
