I got this for a nine hour car ride with my two daughters (5 & 3). It worked great when I first put it in all the way up to Montana. I left it in my car in the harsh Montana winter. On our way back, we had to wait several hours for the device to warm up enough before it would recognize a disc was in the device. If it hadn’t been for that, I would have given this 5 stars.

I can't believe that it has taken this long for me to watch this mini-series! As a compliment to Band of Brothers, The Pacific is a fantastic expression of the horrors faced in the pacific theatre of war during World War II. The steel packaging reminiscent of an ammunition box is a great companion to this series.
