The Hue system is not inexpensive, but if you want mood lighting for your room, it does work well. I have the Hue Bloom along with 4 BR30 down lights in my living room and love the control they give me over the lighting and mood of the room.

A classic revived

I hadn't had a chance to play the game when it first came out, but now that it is on the 3DS I can finally play Majora's Mask. It definitely has a different feel than other Zelda games, so you should understand that going in. But I found it a unique and interesting change and enjoyed the game. I just wish I had been able to get one of the limited edition consoles, but they sold out too quickly.

Nice unique features, but not for everyone

While there are many security/monitoring cameras that support WiFi, this is the only one I"m aware of that is truly wireless and doesn't need to be plugged into a power outlet. This is a great feature that allows you to place the cameras nearly anywhere.
However, the camera system isn't for everyone because there are tradeoffs with these batter-powered cameras.
First, it is NOT intended for 7/24 monitoring. Using it in this way will drain the batteries pretty quickly.
It IS intended for motion detection/notification and schedules can be setup to limit the motion detection to selected cameras and for selected hours during the day in order to conserve battery power.
It is also intended for occasional/intermittent (not constant) remote monitoring from your phone or tablet (such as after you get a motion notification).
If you use it in the intended manner, the batteries should last quite a while. But if you setup 7/24 motion detection and are constantly viewing the camera feeds, you'll drain the batteries much more quickly.

Is there an option to plug cameras into an outlet instead of batteries?
Nope. Batteries only. But Arlo recently announced a new AC-powered camera (Arlo Q) that is HD and has audio, which I believe can be used in conjunction with your Arlo wire-free cameras (so all cameras are viewable through the same app.

Can this system connect to multiple mobile devices?
I previously purchased another system, but it wouldn't work with both mine and my wife's phone, only one or the other. So only one of us could control the lights. We need a system that both of us can access.
I don't see why not. I'm using the iPhone app on multiple devices (iPhone, iPad and my Apple Watch), so I don't see why it wouldn't work with my wife's phone as long as we used the same My Hue account.

Yes, there is some integration with Amazon Echo from what I've been reading, but I haven't set it up myself.

Then you should just buy the A19 Hue color kit, which comes with 3 bulbs plus the newer 2nd Gen Hub. That will be less expensive than buying this kit plus 3 color A19 bulbs (unless you only need 1 or 2 color bulbs). The color bulbs by themselves are pretty expensive.

Lightstrip without hub
Can you use the switch to control the Philips light strip without using or buying the hub?
I'm pretty sure you can't because you need the Hub to do anything with the Hue app, including configuring which lights this dimming switch will control. That said, you can probably pick up the first gen Hub for cheap...I already have 3 of them I'm not using from when I bought different lighting kits that came with a hub because the kits were less expensive than buying the lights individually. I also upgraded to the 2nd gen hub for HomeKit support (a waste of money so far because I haven't gotten around to setting up the HomeKit settings).

do these lamps need a wired ethernet connection to work?
The lights themselves just need power, but you do need a wired network connection in your house for the Hue hub to plug into, which is required to control the lights. I believe the lights communicate to the Hue hub via the Zigbee protocol. This starter kit comes with the older version of the Hue hub, which is fine for most people unless you want to use it with Apple's HomeKit functionality.

Do the cameras run all the time or can you set up time parameters and how easy is it to change them
During the week I would like to have the camera show during the day as per sometime and then at night all the time can I make this happen without too much difficulty
You can setup schedules for the motion detection so that it will be enabled only during certain hours for selected cameras. When motion is detected by the camera, it records several seconds of video, uploads it to their server and then sends you notifications so you know there's something to look at.
I haven't played with the scheduling features too much yet, so I'm not sure if you can setup multiple time windows for turning on motion detection during the same day. While you could setup multiple schedules, only one schedule is enabled at a time and you must manually choose which schedule you want to enable.
