What impressed me most about this, unlike pretty much every other shelf system I've purchased...is how sturdy it is. No flimsy areas! Also, the whole thing takes 10 minutes tops to pit together...all you need is a screwdriver.

Way too fragile.

This is the 4th external HD I own, and I've had it just over a week now. I bought it as an external HD for my PlayStation 4. 3 days after setting it up, I was downloading something in low power mode while I ran some errands. Power went out in my neighborhood for a few minutes, and when I came back the HD was corrupt because it wasn't turned off properly...2 TB of games lost, most of which I had transferred over, not DL'ed. It did try to "repair" but that failed. Today, 6 days later, I'm ejecting a disc and a lightly bump the cord connecting the HD to my PS4. "This device was disconnected improperly"...this time it was able to repair itself. I mean, if it potentially gets corrupted because the cord was lightly bumped...this device is pretty shoddy. Be warned if you have kids, pets, power outages...live in an area with a breeze.....
I use Western Digital HD's on my Xbox One, and have for 2 years without so much as a hiccup.
