Much better than the initial version

I have "version one". On that version, what appears to be some type of rubber material covering the control mechanism, it "rubbed" away on the "+" volume control thereby making it inoperable. That material is not used on this version, it's plastic instead. The plastic doesn't feel robust but I certainly expect it to last longer than the above mentioned.
Sound quality is good, maybe an "uptick" also from the first version.
