This item replaced a Kenmore that was installed in 2002. Primary needs were: Simple to operate and had to match the other kitchen appliances. We opted to install ourselves, so ran up against a few issues (back vent did not match up so we had to vent through front only, and mounting bracket was much flimsier than the Kenmore had been.) Overall, we like the microwave, it has lots of interior space and is easy to operate. Downside: The alert buzzer can be annoying as it continues to sound until you either open the door or press stop.
