I have used SanDisk and prefer to use SanDisk for years. They seem to always work well with little problems if any. I purchase IT for my company, friends, family, and even my church. This is a great product and widely used which helps when transferring files with others. A great feature with the newer Office packages is the applications work with each other very well. If you have excel calculations you want to show to others in a presentation, you can correlate the two apps where the results can be shown in a way you would like them to in powerpoint. When you change the results in the excel spreadsheet -- the results are transmitted to the powerpoint presentation.

This product is one DVD player and two monitors to put on the back of your front seats so your children or whoever can watch video. You can connect other things to the screens like gaming stations but we use it mainly to entertain our kids for long trips. The holders that are provided do not fit well on many seats. But all in all it is very nice. You can also use these in a home environment. Sound is good, Video is good and all you have to do is help your kids decide on that one thing for them to watch. We all know that is an adventure. Another great addition are the included headphones. They work great when you want to listen to music while they are watching video.

In my eye, I feel ASUS is one of the top 3 Laptop providers. This laptop was easy to setup and has a lot to offer. With the Touch Screen, 12GB of RAM and a TB of hard drive space; you don't need much more. It is a 2 in 1 laptop. That means to me you can take the monitor to the back of the laptop and it doubles as a tablet or to watch video. When doing this the keyboard is deactivated until you pull the screen from the base. I really like this laptop for the normal to high end user. I recommended this laptop to a friend and he loved it too!

I purchased this software package for a server I needed to load a server OS onto. So far it works great. I have ordered this OS for 2 other Servers I also have loaded and are currently using. The one thing I probably care for the least about this OS is the GUI. The GUI is so much like that of Windows 8. Wish it were more like one of the other Desktop OS like Windows 10 or 7 or XP.

Will charging the battery before it's fully discharged affect the life of the battery?
Does it have the kind of battery with the "memory effect"?
I always fully charge the battery and discharge the battery down under 10% twice before using the charging procedure through normal use. I have seen it is good to do this and generally the battery lasts longer. It is also good to discharge the battery once a month. Although many will tell you that batteries of today don't need that, I find it does help. And, if anything, it doesn't hurt. What is cool about this laptop is after it fully charges, the charger quits charging the battery. With that said and is there for you to consider, I don't feel your question affects the battery as long as you do the initial process and discharge your battery down as close to 5%-10% once a month. That allows the battery to know what LOW is. I have been told it is not good to completely discharge a battery. Just so you know, these are all opinions. No one really knows what is best other than through experience.

How can I transfer addresses from an old Garmin to the nuvi 2597LMT?
You will want to load Garmin Express on your computer. Then make a backup of your GPS favorites to your computer. Click on your GPS icon and then click on Tools to backup your Favorites. After backing up your favorites you can disconnect the old GPS and connect your new GPS. After or before loading all the updates and such to your new GPS, you will want to Click on the icon for your new GPS, Click Tools (which is the same place you backed up your old GPS) and go down a little more and there you can select the Old GPS and load that backup of your Favorites to your new GPS.

Does this router have a firewall and what are the advantages and disadvantages of using a router with a firewall?
Need a new wireless router but after researching different ones, I have so many questions, including the one above!

Yes it does have a firewall. Very easy to access and utilize. You are able to block anything you wish specifically and there are categories you can block too. This is a great router. You are also able to send logs to an email to view what end users are accessing.

Is there repeater functionality on this router?
We are in a large office. Can I buy two of these and connect them to extend the network? We want to keep it all the same network.
Yes! You can setup these Routers as Repeaters. When logging on as an Administrator you can go to the Repeater section toward the bottom of the listed options. You check a checkbox and submit. The router turns into an accepting repeater. The downside of setting it up as a repeater is you cannot use the web filtering app that is on the device.
