The villains of this film were lame. I liked Don Cheadle though. Thought he was a great inclusion. It could have been so much better. What were they thinking? The action scenes are great but the story was boring.

I really enjoyed this film. High action, great humor. Robert Downey is just so cool. He was born for this role. i think the villain could have been better, but hey, it's robot on robot action, what more could you want?

This sequel had a lot going on. The inclusion of fan favorite character Vision and to see the cameo of Klaw was fantastic. I highly recommend this film.

I went into this show thinking Walton Coggins wasn't great, but he has outdone himself here. Danny shines as always, but I think this is a great pairing. I'm sad to learn this is only getting 3 seasons.

This was a pretty cool sci-fi action film in the vein of Species, but with less cool effects and gore. I enjoyed the dialogue and some of the cinematography is simply stunning, but I felt like they could have done more. The twist towards the middle/end was pretty cool. I like what they did, but I think it could have been better.

The title says it all. I was skeptical about this movie, but boy was I wrong. Great humor, great action. Not over the top. Tim Miller and Ryan Reynolds really pulled this one off. Thank god it is R rated because that's the only way to do the character justice. I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel.

This film contradicts many of the previous sequels. It seems like the writer/director just needed to figure out how to end the convoluted plot he created, so he just ignored several story details and slapped this thing together. Gone are the cool Umbrella labs. Gone are all the awesome video game characters who were introduced in the previous movie. Now we get a lame journey across a desert to a lack luster, non-definitive ending. As someone who really enjoyed the series, this is highly disappointing.
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Here we go, what is this part 5? 6? They are all the same. Couple people go to a planet and are picked off one by one by aliens, but this time Michael Fassbender is in it and he's bad. Whoopdie do. I would have preferred Prometheus Part II, but we get this instead. Good acting throughout by everyone. For those that think James Franco is in this, he's really not. He's got a lame flashback sequence. That's it.
The third chapter in the rebooted sci-fi film franchise finds ape leader Caesar's (Andy Serkis in a voice and motion-capture performance) forces locked in a desperate conflict with the Colonel (Woody Harrelson), a ruthless human whose army also includes a group of traitorous primates. As the war reaches it's apex, the virus that decimated much of humanity begins to cause some of the remaining survivors to slowly devolve into more primitive creatures. I think this is a great movie. It's exciting and emotional. Not what I was expecting when they titled the movie "War of the Planet of the Apes". There really is no war. There's two small skirmishes. The film is more about the relationship Ceasar has with his people. Regardless, it's a great conclusion to the series.
With the world overtaken by a horrific plague, Paul (Joel Edgerton) has done his best to make his backwoods home a sealed-off safe haven for wife Sarah (Carmen Ejogo) and teenaged son Travis (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.). When their isolation is broken by the arrival of foraging couple Will (Christopher Abbott) and Kim (Riley Keough) and their little son, they offer the younger family shelter... but the inevitable rise of tension and paranoia in the closed quarters might doom them all, in writer/director Trey Edward Shult's understated chiller. 91 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

I'll give it to you straight. Nothing overly crazy happens. There's no scary monsters. This movie is about paranoia and dread. If you can enjoy a movie where nothing really happens, but there's a lot of tension and suspense, you will love this movie like I did. Ignore those naysayers and check it out!
