I bought the 4k steelbook. Just a great purchase. Not only is the movie a hilarious watch but the disc and the steelbook are too. You just get the feeling so much thought went into the making of this release. This is a must buy.

It's obvious if you're interested in this collection then I don't think I need to tell you anything about the stories so I'll get right to the what sets this apart from the DVD releases. Unfortunately you aren't going to see true HD resolution. But in comparison to the DVD releases there is a better quality of picture with this blu ray collection and the sound is fantastic. I was very happy and satisfied with my purchase because I already owned Baker's first season as the Doctor on DVD. The only disappointed feature is the new interviews with previous cast including Baker. It's a feature where they are watching the episodes on a couch and there is commentary but it feels like a wasted opportunity to gain new insights into the stories. Tom doesn't say much and as a viewer I was left wanting more. Hopefully the next collection will improve. Great buy for any Doctor WHO FAN.

The great thing about the Thor movies is how each one is so very unique to each other yet interweaving with one another and the rest of the MCU. Like most of the marvel movies I caught this at the big screen and thought it was a bit much on humor. After watching the movie at home I have to say it got a lot better. Its just one of those movies you absolutely enjoy the second time around.
Christopher Nolan steps back into the director's chair for this sequel to Batman Begins, which finds the titular superhero coming face to face with his greatest nemesis - the dreaded Joker. Christian Bale returns to the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes over the role of Rachel Dawes (played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins), and Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger dons the ghoulishly gleeful Joker makeup previously worn by Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero. Just as it begins to appear as if Batman, Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman), and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) are making headway in their tireless battle against the criminal element, a maniacal, wisecracking fiend plunges the streets of Gotham City into complete chaos.

OK so if you don't own the bluray version already and have a 4k television/disc player then I'd recommend the buy. The picture is crisp and benefits from the upgrade. However if you already own The bluray I'd say you already have a great movie and buying the 4k version just isn't worth owning both. Nolan's movies are exceptionally shot and after watching both sides by side it's noticeable in difference but only slightly because the bluray holds up.
I guess my point is ,if you've gone 4k it's easy to want to upgrade your favorites in a collection but not always affordable. 4k is still pricy for reissued previous releases so it sometimes feels like a cash grab. Sometimes movies benefit from the conversion like The Dark Knight but not always. Do you homework.
In conclusion if you're on the fence and have the bluray I'd pass. If you're wanting to upgrade some great titles to 4k and this is in your collection then it's a buy. If you don't own The Dark Knight already and are buying 4k then get it.

A great sequel but not a great plot. I won't spoil the plot of the movie but let's just say Ridley Scott expects the serious viewers to take a lot of faith that even in a sci-fi movie anything is possible without really explaining convulsions. If you can get past it then it's a great ride. Over all ,as a bladerunner fan it wasn't the story I expected.

I've read the book several times and always found the story compelling and terrifying each time. One of Stephen King's best. When the made for TV movie came out I was disappointed because of the ratings limitations. But for all its possibilities it was OK. Tim curry certainly did a fantastic job with the role of Pennywise. I would tell people who have seen the TV version not to make comparisons because each has valve for how they were presented. The 2017 version is terrifying and mature giving fans of the original material something much more hearty to watch than the TV version. Each took some liberty with areas of the book but I found the way the 2017 film was presented was close to the book but focused on the early story with the characters as children. Absolutly one of the better movies I've bought from 2017.

The box reads " An ending you won't see coming".....yeah sorry but I saw it coming. This turns out to be the typical scary monster on a space station story but it's set in the here and now ,not the future. The characters are great and the cast is some of the best but the story isn't worthy of their time. It's just missing something that pushes it in the right direction.
