Unless your Blu-Ray player has an HDMI in? No. It will work on the same TV provided it has more than one HDMI input.

I have installed one app 'Sling tv' in my Samsung tab to watch copa america 2016 / euro 2016 tournaments. I have Samsung LED (not smart one) TV. If I buy google chromecast, then would I be able to cast sling tv app to my TV? what is the process?
There's up to two ways you can cast.
A. The app itself has the functionality enabled. Make sure your device is on the same wifi network as your chromecast, tap the cast to button, select your chromecast and boom. Fat city.
B. In the chromecast/googlecast app you have the option to cast your screen which will display whatever appears on your screen.

Hi, I need to buy the modem for Comcast connection. As per the device specification in comcast they specify Make: Netgear Model: CM400 Also will this device work as modem and router both. Please suggest
Modem only. If you need router function you'll either need a separate router or to buy one that functions as both.
