You Never Tire From Watching This Classic

I watched all three movies in 2 days and currently watching the many hours of extra features. This trilogy is most likely one of the greatest American movie classics. Part 1 & 2 have been completely restored and Part 3 is newly remastered. I also got it at a great low, I mean low price at Best Buy.

Prometheus Better in 3 D

I already had the 2D version of this movie in my collection. When shopping at my local Best Buy store, I saw the 3D version was on sale for $9.99 (a big savings). I am a big 3D fan. Due to growing up in the 1950's during the hayday of 3 Dimension movies and seeing first hand most of the 53 movies produced between 1953 and 1955. 3D gives you the feeling of being there, participating in the situation of the storyline. Especially if you are watching in a theatre or have a big screen (65" or larger) TV. I definately enjoyed the movie a lot more watching it in 3D. Especially since the great advancements in 3D projection technology. Gone are the projection/viewing problems that was present in the duel projector method of the 1950's.

I already had the Mummy trilogy on Blu Ray. I upgraded to UHD and glad I did. The picture quality was so much better, richer colors, finer detail and it seemed to me that even the sound quality was better. All in all making the viewing of these movies more exciting and enjoyable.

This Lenovo - 700-22ISH 21.5 Touch-Screen All-In-One is a fantastic computer. It is such a pleasure to work with (compared to my old PC), matter of fact it puts the fun back into the various tasks I do. I read the reviews and chatted with a computer specialist at my local BestBuy store prior to making a purchase. He was very helpful and informative. I do believe I made the right choice for my computing needs. It is very fast in processing, runs smooth and is very quiet. This is the first time I had a touch screen computer and seems strange having that feature. I bought this movie because I like 3-D movies. Three dimension adds another element of realism to the film watching experience. And the 3-D process of today is so much better than that of the 1950's or 1970's. I also bought it because my wife is a big Henry Cavill fan and likes Greek and Roman movies. The story is good, not great, but good. The 3-D picture quality is very good. Not a lot of "in your face" effects, but a great feeling of depth. Plus it was on sale at Best Buy for only $9.99

Don't Believe The Critics - This Movie Is Great.

I almost did not buy this movie due to the film critics reviews. What is a film critic review anyway - One person's opinion. Well, I thought I would take a chance and buy it. If it was not good, I could sell it on E-bay. I will not be selling it. This movie held my attention although there were only 4 characters (including the robot). Great story, acting and a few action scenes. Plus I enjoyed the ending, it made me happy. And that is what movies are all about. To entertain us and make us feel good and happy. After all what is the purpose of movies: to escape from reality for a couple hours, relax and enjoy. This movie does just that.

Another Great Star Wars Adventure

Missed this in the theatres, bought the digital version from VUDU, but I had to have the 3D version. Saw it was on sale at Best buy for $5 off, so I grabbed it. Glad I did too. Very entertaining from beginning to end. Just two low points. Sorry to see Han Solo killed off. Like seeing an old friend go. The other low point was that I bought this movie after Carrie Fisher had died. Seeing her on screen, knowing she was no longer with us in real life was sad. If you are a Star Wars fan, you need to add this to your Star Wars collection. May the Force be with you...always.

This was an outstanding emotionally inspired film for me about our military men and women today. As a bonus viewing this movie in the high film rate of 60 frames per second combined with the technology of ultra high definition Blu-ray made the film look absolutely superb.
