Fantastic Mixer

I've owned this stand mixer for over four years and it has performed admirably. I use it for all my baking needs including my Sweet Bread, which makes five loaves at a time. Unfortunately the five quart bowl isn't quite large enough but it gets me fairly close to the end of making the dough. I do the rest on a bread board. Some other baked goods it makes the dough completely without needing to take it out and knead it by hand. I will probably take it in to have it checked out even though there doesn't seem to be any problems. I just like to take care of my items. I highly recommend this stand mixer and I like it so much, I purchased one to give to my son for Christmas. He wants to carry on the family traditions of baking. Make sure you clean the beaters by hand and not in the dishwasher, they will last longer. It does a great job of mixing since as the beaters spin, they also rotate off center to mix extremely thoroughly. Great Buy!! If it ever breaks, I will purchase another.

Will attachment # FPPA work on this model Kitchen Aid?

Yes, it attaches to the front of the hub on your mixer. You unscrew the side screw and take out the insert. Then you insert your attachment into the opening and use the screw you just loosened to tighten it down. You're ready to go.
