Outstanding product, easy to install, very good technical support and great value. Only downside is that the device has a very thin form factor and leaves no room for excess wires. Wires must be able to be pushed back into the wall. Just need to prepare for it.

Can you change the temperature from the screen?
Yes, can change from either your device or your smart phone. The manual temperature can be set to either expire at a time you set or hold it indefinitely until you cancel the manually set "hold" temperature.

Is the screen always backlit?
I have heard that this thermostat stays lit up at all times. I want to know if after not using for a certain amount of time, does the backlight turn off?
Yes, but have the ability to adjust the backlight to as dark or bright as you desire. Touching the screen "wakes" the device.
