We had an expensive Dirt Devil for years and was in need of a new one (run to the ground). This hover was on sale, so we picked it up. DIDN'T REALIZE HOW BAD OUR OLD ONE GOT! Not only did this thing pick up dirt, but it made our carpet like new! It was picking things up from deep inside the carpet that you couldn't see. Our old one is a trooper, and hopefully this one last just as long.
