A little disappointed with the RF performance of this antenna. I can not pick up many over the air stations in comparison with my older unit.

This TV was a black friday special and we are very happy with it. The only caveat to note is that it only has 2 HDMI interfaces. Otherwise the image and sound quality are excellent - very happy with the purchase.

samsung smart tv + sony google tv

If I buy the Samsung's smart tv, can I connect with the sony's Google Tv set up box?

You should be able to use one of the HDMI inputs - once you do that simply switch to that input and you are working with the Google TV STB as your primary interface. I currently use that approach with a Roku STB.
