Very easy setup. Works seamlessly with my Samsung SU TV. The 4K picture will blow you away. Much better than 4K streaming. The selection of movies is limited, but like Blu-ray will increase over time.

can i use a new dvd player with old surround speakers?
my dvd player of my old home theatre system quit working. I would like to purchase a new dvd player but still use the speakers from the old system. my old system has 5 speakers plus a sub woofer. are there any dvd players that will accept external speakers??
Yes, just make sure your the audio output selection on the player is set bit stream.

Will i ever be able to run this through my Receiver?
I had to hook this up directly to my Sony 940c tv and bypass my Denon 7200WA, i can tell the picture is deeper and richer but not alot better then my Oppo. Any idea why this wont work through my receiver and will a firmware upgrade fix it?
The unit has two HDMI outputs, one to the TV for video, the other to your receiver if it is not 2.2 compliant.
