Getting the job done

We went between this and a slightly more expensive model. We went with this model because we already had the matching dryer. It is an HE-style washer that requires HE wash soap, but strangely enough doesn't say HE on the unit. Maybe it uses slightly more water than is allowed for HE dryers (?). We were coming from an agitator-based washer which we were perfectly happy with, so we didn't sweat it if it used a little more water.
So far so good. It's washing clothes just fine. It does take longer than the agitator unit it replaced, but that's typical for HE washers. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Still early. If it holds up a year at the same level, I'd probably promote it to a 5.

I had an Onkyo 5.1.2 (Dolby Atmos) speaker package that was decent but not great. I felt it really lacked in the mid-range.
After much searching I decided to try these Polk Bookshelf speakers. I originally bought a single pair just to try out. I was blown away at how full these sound for their size and price. They really fill the room, which is actually quite large with high ceilings and tile. I decided to buy another pair and use them for rear speakers as well. I highly recommend these speakers.

Upgraded from a Samsung S4. Been a longtime Samsung user. Loss of SD Card and Battery on newer Samsungs got me looking for other options. I compared HTC and Motorola, but went with the LG. Nice display. Pretty large, so you need to do the pocket test with a demo unit to be sure. I like the second screen that always shows time/date/temperature (need weather widget for last one). Very fast response and web browsing. Happy with the purchase.
