Filmmaker Ryan Coogler makes his feature directorial debut with this drama centered on the tragic shooting of Oscar Grant (Michael B. Jordan), a vibrant 22-year-old Bay Area father who was senselessly gunned down by BART officers on New Years Day in 2009, and whose murder sent shockwaves through the nation after being captured on camera by his fellow passengers.

This was a great emotional movie. I am so glad that the director was not intimidated by doing this movie, he did a great job. It was a sad outcome but also showed you the reality of what happens in life.

I enjoyed this movie very much, the actors were great. The background about the butler was good, and to see his view on all the presidents that he served was an experience.
Steven Seagal stars as mob kingpin Mr. Alexander, an old-school boss who rules his criminal empire with both nobility and brutality. But when a simple prison hit goes wrong, hell ignite a war between a cold-blooded gangster known as the Iceman (Ving Rhames of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE and PULP FICTION), a disgraced former prot~g~ (Taekwondo World Champion Bren Foster of FIGHT SCIENCE), a merciless Mexican cartel, and an ex-con shopkeeper Danny Trejo of MACHETE KILLS) with some unexpected skills of his own. The lines are drawn. The fuse is lit. And in a citywide massacre measured in pain, fear, honor and vengeance, the ultimate power belongs to the FORCE OF EXECUTION.

I thought this movie was not good, I was looking forward to getting this movie for two weeks and when I finally see it I was not pleased. The acting by Ving Rhames and Steven Seagel was pretty bad and I usually love seeing both actors in most movies. This movie was painful.
