While it has the elements of a typical "hack and slash", the game play, mechanics, and story were more than I expected. I've played Mario games in the past, and while they have all been great, they all followed a similar formula to a degree--and that's fine, I like it. Super Mario Odyssey introducing an open world component, coop mechanics, and interesting locations is fantastic. Next to Zelda, best game on Switch in my opinion.

OK. Personally I'm a fan of these modern day "choose your own adventure" games from Tell Tale--but they aren't for everybody as you have to make decisions quickly. That being said, this game is a hoot, and while it isn't as funny as the movies, has plenty of laughs and a semi-heavy story. Get it!

Nice re-introduction of Spiderman after the last few movies. With this taking place canonically after Civil War, Marvel did a great of bridging the time between films with this. Keaton and Downey outshine Holland at times onscreen though which is a bit awkward.
