I have been a Battlefield player since 1942 (the game) and this was a great addition to a phenomenal series. While no game is perfect, this game launched with nary a glitch has great gameplay, and the addition of Operation's was a welcome bonus, scratching the Rush itch that was lacking in the previous two games.

Would this be a good laptop for school?
I am planning to go back to school and I like to get a nice yet reasonably priced laptop for research papers, projects, etc. I also would like to use it for checking email and browsing the internet. Should I consider purchasing this Chromebook (laptop)? Thanks!
A chromebook is a predominantly wi-fi dependant platform. I use it for college, but understand that it won't run Office. However, Google Docs does most of what Office will do. It does have offline capabilities, but is not designed for that purpose.

If I used somewhere with no WiFi and had the writing app on it would I be able to take notes on it? Also can it save on the book or need a flash drive
Yes, you can use this without WiFi. It does have memory that you can save directly to the laptop. Also, I carry a USB stick as another source to save stuff too.

Is this compatible with Word?
No. However, you have full access to Google Docs. Personally, I prefer Google Docs to Word, but that is just my opinion.
